People love to walk, jog, cycle, or sit by the water, especially later in the day when the temperatures are more comfortable.

Shop at Dubai Marina Mall
Dubai Marina Mall sits right next to the promenade and is easy to include during your walk. It’s not a big mall, but it’s convenient.
Inside, you’ll find well-known brands, a cinema, a food court, a Waitrose supermarket, a currency exchange, and cafes. It’s a good stop if you need a break from walking or want something quick to eat.
Eat Around Dubai Marina Walk
Dubai Marina Walk is a great place for food, with restaurants and cafes spread all along the water.
You’ll find plenty of places to eat along the promenade, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Many places are open late, so you can enjoy dinner after your walk.
For example, ILOLI serves tasty meals, drinks, and shisha throughout the day. Other options include Carluccio’s for Italian, or Nando’s for flame-grilled chicken. There are also cozy cafés and other restaurants along the walk, so you can grab a bite wherever you are.
If you’re looking for something more upscale, Pier 7 is a popular option. It’s a dining tower with several restaurants and bars, each on a different level, with views over the marina.
Ride the XLine Zipline
If you want something more adventurous, XLine Dubai Marina is located here. It’s one of the longest urban ziplines in the world.
You’ll fly across the marina at high speed, getting a completely different view of the area. There’s a meeting point near the marina where the experience starts.
Visit the Marina Mosque
Mohammed Bin Ahmed Al Mulla Mosque is located along Dubai Marina Walk. It’s a small mosque that offers guided tours for non-Muslims.
The tour gives a simple introduction to local culture and daily life in Dubai. The entrance fee is low, and the visit doesn’t take long.
Take a Marina Cruise
Many boat tours depart from Dubai Marina. You can choose between Dhow cruises or modern yachts.
Cruises are available during the day and evening, with options including breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Evening cruises are especially popular as the marina looks different from the water after dark.
Once, my parents and I took the Dhow evening cruise with a buffet dinner and evening entertainment. We really enjoyed not only the views but also the whole atmosphere during the cruise, which was fantastic.

Getting to Dubai Marina Walk is easy, whether you’re using public transport or a taxi.
By public transport
Take the metro to the Sobha Realty station and walk toward the marina. The tram also runs through the area and connects different parts of Dubai Marina and JBR.
If you’re coming by bus, take bus number 8 and get off at Jumeirah Beach Residence 2. From there, it’s about a 5-minute walk to Dubai Marina Walk.
Water taxis are also available from areas like the Dubai Water Canal.
By car
You can drive, but parking is limited around the marina. Parking at Dubai Marina Mall is probably the best choice.
By taxi or ride-hailing apps
Taxis and apps like Uber and Careem work well in Dubai. Just ask to be dropped off at Dubai Marina Walk.
