Hi, I’m Natalie,

My Dubai story started in 2011, when I visited the city for the first time with my mum. I fell in love with it straight away. The warm weather was a big reason, but I was also drawn to how clean and safe the city felt, the beaches, the desert, and the unique buildings you see all over Dubai.

I loved it so much that I started looking for a job there and even thought about moving. In 2012 alone, I visited Dubai three times, once for a job interview, once for a holiday combined with a trip to Oman, and once to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

While finding a job in Dubai didn’t work out, I kept coming back over the years, including longer stays while searching for opportunities. Even though I love discovering new places and have visited 24 countries across four continents, Dubai remained a place close to my heart.

A couple jumps in the air while holding hands during a Dubai desert safari. They are smiling above the sand dunes with a clear blue sky behind them, showing a fun moment from their trip.

During that time, I not only got to know the city well, but I also met my husband, who later moved from Dubai to join me in Prague. If the right opportunity comes along, Dubai is still very much a place we would consider calling home.

After many visits, I’ve learned how Dubai really works, from which areas are best for different types of trips to what’s actually worth seeing and doing, when to go, and how to plan a trip without feeling overwhelmed.

That’s why I created Plan Your Dubai Trip. Here, I share practical tips and real experiences to help you plan your Dubai trip in a way that’s easy, clear, and enjoyable, especially if it’s your first time.
